Background colour

I was hoping for some help with a little problem I'm currently having with
Microsoft Word. I have generated a document which has a background colour
(Eg. Page Background - Fill Effects: I have chosen two colours with a
vertical shading style), when doing a page preview it is perfect. But the
problem I'm facing is when I print this document it prints the colours with
several vertical lines which is not what is show on the print preview screen.


I have opened word options (display) and have ticked the print background
colours and images box but this still hasn't fixed problem.

Can you please help?

Sounds like a printer driver problem rather than a Word problem.
