Background graphic option unavailable - FP 2003

I have FP 2003.
Most of my sites' pages are fine except I now have a few pages where the background graphic image option is not available. It's there, just not highlighted as an available option. I simply have no highlighted areas on the page where I can, as usual, click for a background image and select it accordingly. I suspect I must have done something inadvertantly, but I dont know what. I tried "unformatting" the page but that did nothing. How can I get this page to have the basic properties (under formatting) available as an option?

Background image support is disabled if you are using a Theme on the page
- Provide a URL to the problem pages

I have both the page open as well as the site. I noticed on the web that I had a background image that wasn't posting so I went into FP to check the path to the image. However, thats when I discovered I couldn't access the path or background image at all. It's all greyed out. It's only like that on a few pages (theres about 50 on the site) but I have no idea how that happened or why its like that. I need to modify a setting somewhere that will release this option and make it available. Any help is appreciated.

Did you read my Post?

If you right click a page for page Properties - Formatting and the options are grayed out
- Its because you are using a THEME on that page (background image is controlled by the theme)
Select Format Theme and select No Theme to remove the Theme, If you no longer want it
Otherwise select the Theme and Modify/Customize Graphics to change the background image (save as a new theme name)
