background image isn't printing properly

I'm trying to print a flier in Word 2007that has a background image. However
when I print the flier, I get a weird spotted pattern for the background
instead of the clipart that I'm trying for.

Word shows the correct background in both the editing and print preview
window, it's just printing up wrong. How do I fix that?
