I'm using Outlook 2002 SP3. The problem is that mail items
containing RTF content do not display as they should. For
example, background images in html messages arrive as
attachments, and Outlook doesn't show any actual
background image in the message. Also when I'm composing a
new message in html format, select
Format/Background/Picture, and choose some picture, no
background image will be shown in the message composition
window (I don't use Word for editing messages).
Also, if someone sends me a calendar invitation, I will
see it as a plain text message. The same happens if I send
invitations to myself.
The problem is caused by something in my installation. I'm
using IMAP, and when I access my IMAP account from some
other computer running Outlook 2002, the the same messages
that cause problems in my computer are shown as they
should, with backgrounds and all...
I hope someone has an idea what setting I need to change
to fix this problem. Thanks!
