Background sound greyed out?

Frontpage 2000, new page, normal view, right click, properties. The dialog
that would normally allow one to add a background sound is greyed out. Can
anyone tell how to enable it or point me to the approapriate doco to read?

Sorry to follow-up my own message, but was hoping someone might give me a hint
on where to look. Not sure whether it is grey or gray, but it is not available
in the properties page.
