Background Sound on Pages

I am working to get background sound associated with my
web pages; you know, to click on a page and hear audio.
Well, I know how to do it using the background sound
dialog box (rite click in page mode>proerties>general)
but the background sound dialog box doesn't include an
option for MP3. So far I have had to use wav files and
this slows down the loading of my website on dial up. I
know the answer is a compressed file like MP3. "Real
Audio" file extentions are a file option on the
background sound page? Are they referring to .ra and .ram
real audio files? If so what are you using to convert wav
to real audio. Thanks in advance for your help

Hello,

Try:
<bgsound src=file.mp3 loop=number>
file.mp3 = your file (I don't know if mp3 is accepted,
you'll hear it).
number = how often is should be repeate (use "infinite"
to run it the whole time the page is opened).
