Background

Hi
I'm using Microsoft Word 2000 and have inserted a picture as a background
rather than a color
This is from the format toolbar

However when I go to print preview the background isn't there and it doesn't
print the background.

Is there a setting that is needed to be changed?

I have been to Tools - Options - Print, and have the following ticked -
background printing

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Try to set the background image as a Printed Watermark. Then print. You
can choose the Printed Watermark option under the
Format-Background-Printed Watermark option.

Bob,

Did you choose Printed Watermark under the Format then Background menu?
If you did, you should have been givin another menue that shows you the
option of having No Watermark, Picture Watermark and Text Watermark. If
the background you want is a picture, you will have to select Picture
Watermark and tell the computer where the image is located. Once it is
done, you should be able to print out the text and background. I do it
all the time.
