backing up Office Outlook 2003

I wish to back up all the files, calandar, tasks etc. before re-installing
Microsoft Office Outlook. I have read the posts hoping to gain some
knowledge however, there just dosen't seem to be a full explaination on how
this is done. I followed one post which referred to PST. files but for the
life of me I could not find any files which could contain the volume of
emails etc. I have stored in my outlook files.

Is there anyone who could provide me with a step by step procedure to
achieve my goal. Thank you
