Backing Up Outlook Personal File Folders

When using Personal Folders Backup, it does not present the option to save
the principal PST file. Worse, a search of all PST files on the computer
only found old backups related to the transfer to this new computer. How can
I locate the PST and get the backup utility to save it?

You have to search to include hidden for *.pst
You have checked the options in the Backup tool?
