Backup and Restore Project Server 2007

I have got a Project Server 2007 instance on a single server and required to
move it to another server.

After several attempts I was able restore the projects databases to the
other server but was unable to restore the WSS sites.

As the second server was only temporary it was deployed just with the
project databases on.

Now the server is back in and I have to take the databases off the second
server and put them back onto the original server.

I have tried serveral times and I get the databases restored but I am unable
to logon to PWA, does anyone know how I can do this.

Because of the problems with this I restored all the databases on the
original server which I backed up before I restored the moved databases. Now
I am able to log into PWA but there are no projects and I get an error when I
go into settings.

Can anyone help with either of these problems

Hi

Just an update the restore of the databases from the server back to the same
server works but it does take a few minutes for it to decide that it will
work.

I still have no joy in restoring databases from another server. They restore
fine but will not allow me to access the web access site.

I restored the 4 db´s over the 4 existing on another server and used the
existing PWA site cause i coul get a new one to work:

I had two A.D. users set as PS and WSS Admins, A.D\Administrator (Used to
install PS) and my A.D. User
On the server with the db´s i want to restore and on my current server,
where i want to restore my db´s, i had the local administrator as PS and WSS
admin.
After restore i could only log on to pwa as my user (lucky for me) but
afterwards i found out that i couldn´t make any new user as i got an
unkwnown error every time i tryed to do so. I also received many other
errors that i managed to fix.
I don´t recomend you to do this. I´m trying to restore the WSS Restore on
another server as it says in:
