Backup data

D

Darryl Abrahms

Last week my web host's server crashed and nearly lost my data. Fortunately
they managed to recover it. They said that I should keep my web on my local
drive and then publish it to their server every time I want to update it.
That way I can save my site on CDR. That is inconvenient because if I want
to correct one typo I need to go through the whole process of publishing my
site. Even if I tell Front Page to publish changes only it is time
consuming. Isn't there an easier way to do this and still back up my data?

Thanks, Darryl

The best approach is always to work locally and then publish, as you will
always have a current copy. Depending what is on your pages, will determine
what other methods you can use to upload content.
