Backup File size

[PE]

Database file size is approx 15MB but when I take a backup via File>Backup
the file size of the backup is approx 8MB!

Is anything missing from the backup to casue this?

If you compact your database, (Tools ... Database Utilities ... Compact and
Repair) you will find a similar reduction in size. The backup procedure is
doing this for you.

if you use ACCESS DATA PROJECTS you dont have to worry about this kinda
crap; you can set up a TSQL job and it will backup itself.

it's got about 100 times more functionality than Access MDB.
