Backup Office settings

Hi,
If I want to backup any settings I have in Office for MS Word Excel and move
them to another machine, is there a file I can copy and put on the other
machine that will do that for both Word and Excel settings, or all they all
separate files, or can it be done at all?

I have Office 97/98.
