Backup problems

Whenever I attempt to backup using the add-in backup
utility, I receive the message "Cannot access
Outlook.pst: Access Denied." Similarly, when using my
stand-alone backup program (@backup, an off-site backup)
the file cannot be backed up. I can, however, both sync
to my PDA and drag the .pst file from Windows Explorer to
a CD-R. The file appears to update properly. There are
no problems accessing contacts, appointments, or e-mails.

The PFBACKUP utility needs exclusive access to the file, which it cannot get
as long as Outlook has the file open. If your PDA is stillo cradled,
Outlook is running and has the file open.

I think you're playing with fire by dragging an open PST to CD. While it
may appear to work, you are running the risk of losing data. As long as the
PST is open, it cannot be copied in its entirety.
