Backup/restore DB question

All,

I need to backup and restore the PRODUCTION database to a test server. My
infrastructure guys are very protective of anything in PRODUCTION, and they
are afraid that the newly restored DB couild have some kind of pointers to
the PRODUCTION DB or the PRODUCTION OLAP cube.

I can't think of any reason why this would happen. Does anyone know whether
their fears could be remotely justified?

Project Server DB store reference to the server running Analysis Service
