The Ad Manager I have develop does not show photos when I put it online.
Everythig is alright on preview, however as soon as I upload and the page is
developed where the Banner Ad Manager resides the space alloted to the
Manager is there but the photos do not show. The photos in the Banner Ad
Manager upload but they do not show up once the page is online. What am I
doing wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Make sure that the images are imported into the web and that the
pointers to the images are in relation to their location on the web--
not to your local computer.

Thanks for your tip, however, I have deleted the images from the front page
and then I imported them. I then get ad banner and start adding the photos
into it from the front page web page after the photos are loaded to Ad Banner
and I save the web page or page where I am placing the Ad Banner the photos
are saved. I preview the web site and the Ad Banner works fine. I can see
the photos, but as soon as I upload to the Internet the photos do not show up
only the space is there. I had never had this problem before.

You might want to check the web site where I a supposed to show the Ad Banner
and all you will see is a big space where the photos are supposed to show. I
configured the Ad Baner properties 400 width by 400 height. I leave the
"Link to:" empty then I start adding photos from the folder list after the
photos had been imported there. The web sites address is:
http://www.margaritas1.com I would really appreciate help on this. Thank
you.

I haven't used the Ad Banner. Is it java based. When I view that URL i
get a big empty space in the center because I haven't installed the Java
Virtual Machine plugin. I am not sure if i can help you with that.

Yes, if your computer does not have "java" then you will not be able to see
the menu bars nor anything having to do with Ad Banner because they need
"Java" to run it. You can load the "Java" program by going to
http://java.com. Just follow the isntructions. Windows used to incorporate
Java script, however some legal thing between Microsoft and Java took place
and Microsoft left it out of windows Xp and 2000.

I forgot to tell you that even if you have "Java" you would not be able to
see the photos. You will see an ad as big as the space I alloted for the Ad
Banner with the Java logo showing its loading the Java script to show the
photos. However, even after it finishes the photos do not show up. The big
blank space is the only thing visible.

Thanks for trying to help me anyway, I really appreciate it. You tried, and
thats what matters. Again, thanks.

"Whoaaaa!"
What a surprise! I finally got the Ad Banner to work. I had tried
everything from uninstalling Front Page and reinstalling again to see if that
was the problem. Nothing I tried for three days in a row helped. I finally
decided to manually upload the photo files(to the image folder)on the server.
I was not sure if that was going to work so what I did was uploaded only
three photos. Then I configured the Ad Banner Manager again uploaded it to
the server using Front Page. I ran it and presto the photos showed up. I
then decided to manually upload the rest of the photos (9) all together and
did the same thing. What would you know the same problem crept up again. I
could not see the photos. I finally decided to add to the first three photos
adding one photo or file at a time and it continued to work just fine. When
I came to photo number 8 the problem crept up again. The Ad Banner did not
show the photos once it was logged in into the Internet. It would be OK on
preview but not when the web site was logged in to the Internet. I decided
to eliminate photo NO. 8 and go to photo NO. 9 and the same thing happened.
I then deleted photos 8 and 9 and the AD Banner worked just fine.

I am at a loss as to why the photos (8 and 9) were shorting out the rest of
the Ad Banner photos? All of the photos were cropped and resized using Adobe
Photo Shop and saved as JPG.

Those two photos gave me the trouble of my life for three days in a row and
I am at a loss as to why?
