Banner Ad not appearing

I have a page in which the banner ad, which include a
number of photo(gifs) does not appear. Instead all I get
is a grey box. When I preview in a browser it works but
not when I publish on web. Any ideas?

Hi J. Byers,

Java Applets require the Java Virtual Machine which is no longer shipped with IE.

Use a JavaScript resource such as J-Bots Ad Banner component
http://www.websunlimited.com/order/Product/navigation/adbanner.htm

or see the JavaScript resources at http://www.websunlimited.com/resources.asp

Do you have your photos uploaded on the web to a photo host? You could use FTP if you are on AOL; other IP's probably have FTP too. There are photo hosts such as Ranchoweb, Inkfrog, and others, probably some free ones out there somewhere

I am using those links but I can't figure out what I am looking for when i get there. Am I downloading something called "java virtual machine" ?

If you are using Windows XP or IE6, then you do not have a Java Virtual Machine, as MS no longer
provides one. This applies to many user of Windows XP and IE6, so it is best to avoid using any Java
Applets, such as the Hover Button and Banner Ad Manager.
