Bar code appears when using office?

Lisabet

When I use "Office" a bar code appears and follows my mouse and hides it, so
it is difficult to start my application. This happened before, so I
uninstalled Office and reinstalled it, but it is happening again. What can I
do to eliminate this annoyance?

Hi Lisabet,

In Word in Tools=>Options=>Edit see if you have '
[x] Enable click and type
turn oned The 'barcode' is the same icon on the formatting toolbar (left, center, right...) for justification and appears when
you're over a blank spot of a page in print layout view to let you know that if you click there you can start typing and that is the
'flow' you will get when you start to type.

It's a feature :)

I was still scratching my head over this one! I couldn't image what
"Lisabet" was referring to. Makes perfect sense now. I'm glad you
figured it out. :)
