Bar Styles

I have a created a custom view in Enterprise Global that shows
milestones in the way management wants to see them - that works fine -
I can open any project and appy that view. Recently, I wanted certain
milestones to be "color coded" based on an Enterprise Flag. When I
open the "Bar Styles ..." window on the Gantt Chart, the "Show for ...
Tasks" column only lets me select what I guess you'd call project level
flag fields (e.g. Flag1, Flag2, etc.) - not Enterprise Flag fields. I
can go into an individual project and make the Flag1 field equal to the
Enterprise Flag field that I want and get the effect I want, but I have
to do open each project and edit the Flag1 field to do it. The
question is, how do I automatically get a "project level" flag to equal
an enterprise flag whenever a project is opened? (or is there a better
way to do this?)

Thanks,
Dave

You can only refer to local fields in bar styles, and the system will
not let you set an enterprise field to local custom field, however you
can include the local field and barstyle in an enterprise view.
Clearly you still have to set the task flag value to change milestone
format.

Note you can set a local flag equal to an enterprise flag, however this
is purely local to the plan and does not really achieve very much.
