Hello,
I am having issues printing barcode labels using a zebra printer.
first, the label size is very small 1.5X4.
for the label to be useful, the barcode needs to be arranged horizontal, so
it can be read while attached to bottles etc.
I have used fonts: code39quaterinchtt, idautomationhc39m, wasp39 L, and wasp
39LC. All of these fonts work in the vertical direction, not in the
horizontal as needed. In addition since the label is very small the font
sizes needs to be small as well. The scanner isn't reading fonts smaller than
11/12.

my questions:

do you know of a code that can adjust the narrow width or ratio of the lines
within the barcode?
or, are there small barcode fonts that can be downloaded/purchased to get the
job done?

thanks

See the Using bar codes within an application page at my website at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/barcode.htm and visit the last
paragraph in the section free bar codes.

Then try that setting the controls Vertical property to Yes.

Actually any of the fonts might work if the Vertical property is set
to Yes.
