Baseline changes overnight?

This is a bit disconcerting. We had a set of tasks that were
baselined. I have a copy of the saved mpp file from Friday showing
baseline work = 64. This morning, the same set of tasks have a
baseline work that adds up to 604.

Has anybody else seen instances where baseline numbers seemed to
change on their own?

Hi J,

We have implemented Project Server many times and have not come accross that
Baseline changed themselfs. The only possebility I see is if the Project File
was corrupted, but even then I have never seen that the Baseline changed
without any manual interverence. I would check which task has changed, and
then would ask if someone has changed the baseline. You can also see based on
the date when the baseline was changed last. Check if the Baseline save date
on the mpp file is the same then the one in Project Server

Problem solved. I was comparing tasks with same names in different
phases, not the same tasks. Better labeling needed.
