what if i forget to set the baseline and the project started and after

Personally, I'd be inclined to set the baseline as it stands. If you've not
entered any actuals or rescheduled any tasks then you are in the same
position as you where two days ago.

If it's a time critical project and you've already slipped, then consider
removing any actuals, setting the baseline then reapplying the actuals to the
plan.
