I know this is probably not the answer you are looking for, but the baseline
can be locked down in the next version of Project shipping later this year.
Not exactly. But I did an experiment not too long ago where I created an
export map to Excel and stored the baseline data there. I believe I included
the Unique ID column to be sure I could reimport the data. This way I could
defend against fumble fingered coworkers...including myself.
