Basic 3D Network Shapes appear as Basic Network Shapes

I'm having an issue in Visio 2002 Pro where I will select
File - Stencils - Network - "Basics Network Shapes 3D" and
everything appears on the drawling just as if I
selected "Basic Network Shapes" or "Basic Network Shapes
2".

Is there a known fix for this?

One possibility: If the shapes are set to "Match master name on drop", then
any 3D network shapes that have the same exact name as a shape from the
regular (non-3D) network shapes stencil will change to the shape from the
regular network shapes stencil. For example, there are shapes named "Server"
and "Workstation" on both the 3D and non-3D stencils.

If this is indeed the problem, you will notice that the shape has the 3D
appearance as you are dragging it out but flips to the non-3D appearance as
soon as you let go of the mouse.

To check for this, put the stencil into edit mode by right-clicking on its
title bar and choosing Edit. Then, right-click on the shape in the stencil
and choose "Master Properties". Check to see if "Match master name on drop"
is selected. Uncheck it if it is.
