Basic Defragmentation Question

ManeMan

My wife performed a defrag on our system and we got the message that we had 4
files that could not be defragmented. The total file size was 318 MB and
pointed to our Windows One Car Database. So I folowed the path and found
that the entier database almost exactly matched the amount that could not be
defragmented. So, I think that it is natural and normal and there is
really nothing we can do about it and we jsut have to live with it as long as
we use the MS Windoes OneCare Live system.
Does anybody else have a better explanation? My wife thinks since this is
the first time the message has come up that it is not normal nor natural and
that we have a big problem on our hands.
Any advice?
Thanks for your help.

ManeMan,
Don't know. You are in the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is dedicated
to questions/issues with Microsoft Project, a planning and scheduling
application. I suggest you try a general Windows newsgroup.

hi ManeMan,

I haven't heard of "MS Windoes OneCare Live system", is this an Access
database?

If so, you could try [alt + T + O] - Current Database - "Compact on
Close" - [ok].
