Is it possible to setup a way to always BCC a message to myself when sending
an email? There is a rule for CC, but not BCC.

Why? What advantages does this have over the default Outlook function of
saving a copy of every email you send to your Sent Items folder?

I can turn off 'Save message in Sent folder'
The first advantage is that then I can see the entire thread (including my
responses) .
The second is that if I am a member of any of aliases in TO field, I am not
going to have two copies of the message - one in Inbox, second - in Sent
folder.

Simply make a "Sent rule" to move a Copy to the Inbox and stop
processing more rules.

If the mail server and computer times are not idential down to th
second, the messages appear out of order and won't sort right - th
copied reply can be before the message. Using VBA to BCC gets the mai
server time so the messages aren't out of order.

Plus, if you BCC, you can use rules to mark the BCC message read (i
message from me, mark as read) or do other things not available in Afte
Sending Rules
