BCC to individuals?

I've been round the E'rage site, but could not find a reference to this.

Sometimes I get group emails which have just my name in the 'to' bit, but
are quite clearly BCC'd to more than one person. Is it possible in E'rage to
do this?

Thanks.

What I meant was - when I send a BBC'd mail

It's actually BCC, not BBC. I suppose you're British.
to a group of people, is there a
way of making it look to them (when they receive it) as if it has just gone
to their name? IUCWIM...

Anyway, yes, this can be done. Download Paul Berkowitz's free "Separate BCC
Messages" script from ScriptBuilders @ MacScripter. Read the Read Me for
the full instructions for use, but if you place yourself as the "To"
recipient and all of the real recipients in the "Bcc" section, and then send
the message using the script rather than the normal command, each recipient
will receive a copy of the message addressed only to him or her.

Bella,
There is an Apple Script for this. You make up a group {has to be
from a group}, put your 10 or 20 or 30 names in the group, run the
script and they all go out and it looks individualized. Apple Script
Central has it I think. Its called Separate Group Messages version

Hi Ron (thanks) - I saw Mickey's post and got it. But I can't get it to
work. If I put the main 'to' person as the email I'm sending from (not this
"Bella" email), then it stays as the main header when the recipients get it;
(ie it doesn't work at all). However, if I put another of my email
addresses (ie this one) as the main 'to' person, all the recipient messages
have this in it:
<[email protected]>

Which kind of negates the point of the whole thing! What am I doing wrong
here, I wonder?

Thanks

Bella
