BCM is an add-in for Outlook. That means it's not part of the native Outlook
program, but an additional program that must load when Outlook loads.

Because of this design, if Outlook encounters a problem loading, BCM will
often fail to load as well. One of the frustrations many people have with BCM
is that once it fails to load, it usually won't spontaneously reload without
some help.

One of the most popular fixes to this problem for users is uninstalling BCM
and reinstalling BCM. While that approach might work well for some other
programs, it probably won't help your BCM problem. Here are some suggestions
to try if BCM doesn't load when you open Outlook.

Check BCM's Load Behavior in the Windows Registry
First, make a backup of your registry. For instructions on how to backup
your registry, see the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
Click Start and choose Run.
Type Regedit.exe and click OK.
Check the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.Busine
ssSolutions.eCRM.OutlookAddIn.Connect.1
The registry key should be set to 3

Create a New Profile
If all else fails, create a new Outlook profile.
Close Outlook and choose Control Panel from the Start Menu.
Double click the Mail Icon (found under Users in the Windows XP style
Control Panel).
Click the Show Profiles button.
Click Add to create a new profile.
Outlook will walk you through setting up your email accounts. When you're
done, click OK to return to the Profiles dialog box. You'll need to either
select Prompt for a profile to be used or choose your new profile from the
Always use this profile drop down box.
Restart Outlook.
You should be prompted to add BCM to your newly created profile.
