BCWS Not Calculating

I need help with figuring out why the BCWS is not calculating. This appears
to be happening with tasks that I added after the project was baselined. The
answer to the obvious question is did I baseline these tasks that were added,
YES I did.

These tasks have an assigned resource with a cost value. The baseline
duration and cost fields contain data.

When I update the % work complete, BCWP will update, however the BCWS is not
updating. I realize that the BCWS should already have a value before I start
updating the % Work complete.

Does anyon have suggestions?

Hello Don,

Have you set the appropriate status date? The BCWS shows scheduled
work value as of the status date or the current date. If the
scheduled work is after the status date or current date, the BCWS
will be zero.

When you save the baseline, did you save to Baseline, not Baseline1
or Baseline2? What baseline are you using for Earned Value?

I have the same problem. The baseline 0, the baseline cost is there, the
resource is ok (has values)..... I don't know what is going on....

Hello Caio,

What is your status date? I don't understand what you mean by "the
baseline 0".

Earned Value Method

If the above has been tried...

Try clicking Tools, Options, Calc tab, Earned Value button.

Likely, the baseline for earned value will be blank
