Become the Manager for these assignments

When using this functionality, what is the easiest way for a project
manager to know who is the manager for a particular task in a project
plan using either Project Professional 2003 or PWA?

Thanks,

There is no easy default method to accomplish what you seek in Project Web
Access, and no way at all to accomplish this in Microsoft Project
Professional. The approch we recommend to our clients is to ask your
Project Server administrator to modify the default Summary assignment view
in PWA to include the Project Manager column. You can then apply this view
by navigating to the Resource Center page in PWA and selecting the View
resource assignments link in the sidepane on the left. You can then change
the grouping on the Filter, Group, Search tab to Group by Project, Then by
Task Name, and Then by Resource Name and easily see who is the Manager for
each task assignment. Hope this helps.
