Before my very eyes

Hi

Today I opened Outlook 2010 on my Win 7 64bit desktop. and watched all
the emails in my inbox being deleted without me having done anything. I
then clicked on a subfolder, and watched all of those being deleted
immediately as well. Any folder that I clicked onj, I could see the
messages there briefly, only to watch them all being deleted. Went to
look in the Deleted Items folder, and none of the stuff that had just
been deleted was there, but whatever was going on tried to delete stuff
from there as well, but was stopped by the "are you sure" type message.
Looking around, I also saw that about 90% of my contacts had vanished.

Fortunately I had cloned my hard drive two days before, so I just
recloned and got back to then, and all seems stable.

What could have caused all that mass deletion.
