Being prompted to register ActiveX controls in PowerPoint

Our client's computers are displaying a message prompting them to register
ActiveX controls in PowerPoints that are embedded with Flash animations. The
Flash player has been downloaded. We see the Shockwave Flash player in the
Control Toolbar. any ideas what could be causing this?
