Hey everyone. I'm currently working on a project for my company. Right now
we have about 12-17 people working in the database and I have just finished
writing an updated front end and cleaning up the tables (I came into this
project after a basic solution was already in place) Anyway, we are going
to be growing to about 30 users that all have to be working in this file at
the same time. I have all the basics of Access but not well versed in the
multi-user enviroment. I'm thinking that I should look towards a better back-
end solution for the next revision. What are the thoughts between MySQL and
MS SQL Express? Easiest to learn, use, grow with, use with Visual Basic,
design web-apps for an intranet site?? The boss is not going to want to
spend any real money for this to happen. Any thoughts, comments,
suggestions would be awsome. Also, anyone have any good sites to recommend
for good free tutorials on those products?
