Best Backup to CD for Outlook?

Chad Harris

Given all the google hits and the MSKBs on backing up Outlook mail and
folders, (to CD/DVD) does anyone have a preferred method that they use to do
this--and is there any facet of 3rd party like Nero or Roxio that makes it
easier?

The easiest approach that I know is to just drag the PST to the CD drive and
let Windows XP's built-in burning feature do the rest. Without Windows XP,
I'd vote for Nero.

Kathleen, Brian, and Erik thanks for the links and help. Where is the .pst
folder or are there multiple .pst files located?

Thanks,

Chad

There is no set location for a PST, although the default location is the
(hidden) folder
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
