What are you looking to learn? I have found that most community colleges
offer online Office product courses. The cost probably varies from state to
state. Most offer a beginning and intermediate, some an advanced. I would
suggest that you start with the begineer unless you really know the product
you want to use. Some colleges will allow you to audit a couple of classes
free of charge to determine whether the specific class will suit you.
Any Office product for Dummies book will help you. However, you need to
either read it cover to cover or know what you want help with. If you don't,
you will probably get frustrated looking things up via the index.
As for online chat environment/telephone support. You will find this,
however, not normally free. Most chats or messgae boards are great sources
and you will get lots of help. Some will resolve the problems, some won't
and some may make the situation worse. Remember, anyone that assists you via
online is going by what you tell them, not by what they see - this can make a
world of difference in resolve/assistance.
