Best practice advice - installing multiple Office applications

Hi,

We are designing distribution points for the 2003 versions of Office Pro,
FrontPage, OneNote, Publisher, Project and Visio.

We will also be installing MUI Packs for one other language besides
international English, as well as extra Proofing Tools.

I don't have much experience in this, but here are a few details that may be
of importance:
* We are looking to distribute a myriad of different Office configurations
to different users, eg. one user might have only Word and Excel, another
Outlook and Project, and a third all applications.
* We are considering using Group Policies for deploying (see previous post
on this subject), and later also SMS.
* All installation points will be customized using MST-files.

In this scenario, what is the receommended way to design the distribution
point?

Should we make separate distribution shares for each office application
during the 'setup /a', like this
\Office Pro share
\FrontPage share
\...

or should we point all applications to one share, eg. \Office

Or, thirdly, should we perhaps split up Office pro into one share for each
application as well, like this
\Excel share
\Word share
\...

Also, where do we put the MUI Pack and the proofing tools in these three
scenarios?

For instance, if we split the installation into many different shares, do we
put a copy of the MUI and the Proofing Tools in each share or in a single
separate share?

A concern is, among other things, that if we assign applications to users
through a GPO for each application, how do we control the installation of
MUI Pack and Proofing Tools? Should we chain both to all MSI's and have the
installed over and over, or should we let the MUI Pack and Proofing Tools be
installed separately following application installation, or what?

Any help highly appreciated!

Regards,
Jørn
