Carla before cleaning up the local I highly recommend you install Service
Pack 2 recently released last week to benefit from the latest bug fixes for
that feature

However, just in case you are still having issues then delete everything under
%appdata%/Microsoft/MS Project.
Some customers run a script at login to do this.
