Hi All,
I have a webpage that my users submit news articles on.
It works great ...no issues.
I will discribe the work flow to give a better
understanding of my question.
Using FrontPage 2002 & Access Dbase
1. User logs on to the submission form
2. User selects the Deparment & Category for news
articles from a drop down window.
3. User paste the news article into the Memo text.
4. User Submits the form and the info is written to the
data table.
5. On submit a data return page presents the articles to
the users as they are submitted...for thier review.
What I need to do:
I would like to to offer the Research Manager the ability
to do 2 things once the articles are submitted.
1. Identify which News Artilces are "hot topics"
2. Allow the Research Manager to "disapprove" any
articles that she feels are useless.
My plan was to add the corresponding Check Box to the
database table but the obvious problem to how to "update"
the table once she disappove an article and/or checks off
on the "hot topics".....how to get this new information
back into the original table.
Thanks,
JCrowe
