Excel 2003

I have to prepare a spreadsheet of user issues and how many times the same
issue occurred.

I have a book of issues with the details.

I am not sure if I can create a chart or would it be better to just create a
workbook with different tabs - worksheets may have not enough info on one
sheet? I just don't know.

I'm not sure what *THE* best practice is, but my recommendation would be a
Pareto Chart. It gives the clearest display of the most-occurring events
along with cumulative percents. I use them enough that I've built an
automated model that re-aligns the data and scales the chart accordingly.
