Best way to include an Adobe PDF file into a Word 2003 document

Ryan Gaudet

Hi,
I recently purchased a utility that allows me to print custom reports from a
Visual FoxPro application to a PDF document and I woudl like to include
these pdf files into a word document but I can't figure out a way to do
this. I've tried inserting an existing object from file but all I get is the
filename oin the screen and if I open it, it opens in Abode viewer.
Is there not a way to insert the file directly into the Word Document?
Thanks

No there isn't, unfortunately. This is functionality missing from Adobe,
rather than from Word.

Hi Ryan,

If you're using Adobe Acrobat version 5.0 or later, you can do a Save As in
Acrobat, choose the file type to be TIFF, and then insert the resulting
file(s) into MS Word as pictures.
