Beta 2 install help/issue

well I finally got this downloaded and about half way through install i get
this error message:
C:\document~1\agrant\locals~1\temp\owp168.tmp\office.en-us\setup.chm Says
it cannot be found check cd or network???? I have downloaded this three
different times and get the same message?

Can anyone help?

What I think has possibly happened is that when the dialog box to open or
save came up, I think you clicked open because what has happened is that it
stored the file in the temp directory, and as such installed from that
directory, however the files are no longer in the temp directory. When I
downloaded I saved a copy of the file so that I need never download the file
again, I store all my downloaded betas in a folder called "Beta Software" on
my desktop.

Actually I get error 1706 Setup cannot find the required files. Check your
connection to the network or cd-rom drive.

Anyone have any idea why I get this on a fresh install. I have downloaded
the file 3 times and get the same error every time

I take that back. I no longer get that I just get the word (null) and it
tells me it failed and that it is rolling back changes.

Frustrating as alll HECK

I also get the same (null) error setup failed with no other explanation when
I try to install Groove or Onenote seperately.

Please help anyone?????????

I'm getting the same error too installing Office Beta 2 on Windows Vista.
Did you ever get a resolution?

I never found a resolution. I did get a reply from someone in Microsoft who
advised this is a known issue. I ended up going back to my MS Office Pro
2003. The 2007 version appears to be in route to being a welcome upgrade, but
of course, only after they have worked all the bugs and make it ready for
retail release. The beta simply has too many problems.
