Beta 7 Is it worth the install?

Buddy:
See my posts on some issues I found when using it. Overall I think it will
be very good when finally delivered. DO NOT INSTALL IT IN A MACHINE YOU RELY
ON FOR PRODUCTIVE WORK!!! If you are an "Outlook Junkie" that cannot exist
without your data/docs/mail, etc (like yours truly) data that "dissapears" or
has to be massaged to work as you're used to can be quite frustrating. I'm
going to put 2007 B2 on a "non-critical" machine, once I get it out of my
workhorse. Some of the doc/xls functions will be great for novices and it is
a cool program when it comes to graphics, etc.

Just from a different perspective - we are using it on three machines here
with no issues.

Why do you want to use it? Curious? Let others be the guinea pig.

Need to test the new functionality for a purpose? Install it on a throwaway
partition that you have ghosted.

If you just want to run it just because you can, you probably shouldn't. If
you have a good reason to run beta software for future evaluation, then yes,
it may be worthwhile.

But NEVER install any beta on a production machine with critical data that
you are not willing to sacrifice to a reimage or reformat.

After furious head scratching, buddy asked:

| I have downloaded it-but haven't installed it.
| Is it worthwhile?
