I purchased and installed the Office 2007 beta, and the BCM for outlook beta.
Both programs worked well with each other, some quirks, but guess thats
expected with betas, it happens with full releases too !!! Anyway, someone on
another thread had suggested I update the beta's I had with the update 2TR
files. Each one, Office, and BCM had 2TR update files that I downloaded....
I installed the update to OFFICE 2007, no prob, looks nicer and seems to
work better... I installed BCM update, and it gave me an error that file was
not found (I dont remember the file name, but Im sure if I do it again, it
will tell me.. It told me to insert the original disk ????? ) ....
SO I gave up and uninstalled BCM from add/remove progs, the reinstalled the
original BCM 2007 from earlier... NOW it says the two programs are a package
and cannot be installed together... CAN I NOT UPDATE THESE BETAS??? Now BCM
will not run at all and I DO NOT want to UNINSTALL OFFICE AGAIN, being
outlook seems to be running better... THE ONLY WAY I SEE fixing this is to
uninstall everything again and reinstall without the UPDATES... DONT WANT TO
GO THERE... Does anyone have suggestions, or lead me to a support area? I can
try again installing BCM and write down the error I get in the next post,
unless there's knowledge of this already..
