When a control such as a checkbox is unavailable in a form (dialog) or item
in a menu is greyed out, I always want to know why. What is it that I am
missing? What would happen if I selected the control if it were available?
So you turn to the Help system to find out all about the function underlying
the button, but it rarely covers the circumstances when the item is not
available. This needs to be explicitly covered at all times in the Help
system.
