better help

Wayne M.

My question seems so simple to me, yet I've wasted 20 minutes so far bumping
into useless help answers (usually to other questions).

I did a search (among others) on "452 4.5.3 Too many recipients", which is
the exact error message OUTLOOK gave me after attempting to send mail, and
absolutely nowhere in your help system can I find out how many recipients is
too many.

Why dont you guys at least list the probable problem when YOUR software
displays an error message. surely YOUR software knows what is wrong when it
displays the message. Let me in on the secret. ( and don't make me pay your
support people to look it up. waste of their time and my money)

thanks

Welcome to the News Groups for Microsoft Access, the most popular database
in the world! Since this News Group is dedicated to dealing with the issues
of the database application from the Microsoft Office suite, you may receive
quicker (and possibly correct!) answers by posting your question in the
Microsoft.Public.Outlook News Groups.

First of all, I don't know who 'you guys' are.
The guys (and girls too) who respond to questions in these
microsoft.public.access news groups are not paid Microsoft employees,
so if you have a gripe, please address it to the proper place....
Microsoft itself.

Secondly, the access in this news groups title refers to Microsoft
Access, a database product (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
You'll have a better chance of a relevant reply by posting your
question in the proper news group for the version of Outlook you are
using and giving a specific problem. The fact that you have an error
message is useless unless you tell someone what the circumstances
were.

Thirdly, ONLY twenty minutes?

Fourthly, Microsoft maintains a Knowledge base of articles on all of
their products. Did you search there?
Here is the url for Microsoft's support page.

http://support.microsoft.com/

The third link on the page is to the Knowledge Base.
The fourth link if to Frequently Asked Questions.
The fifth link is to Microsoft.
