Big problem playing movie in PPT 03

I inserted a 15 sec movie (.mpeg) into my powerpoint presentation and it
plays wonderfully on my computer. When I send the file to someone else, that
computer can't find the movie (Message says: 0xC00D1197: Cannot play the
file). I have a feeling that I'm not saving the movie since my file is so
small (378 kB), but I don't know how to do it. [I'm confused about
"linking": I tried creating a separate folder with just the presentation and
the movie before inserting the movie, but the movie still doesn't play.]
Could you please give me suggestions?

You have to send the video file along with the presentation. Tell the end user
to save both files to a folder on their hard drive and then play from there.

Good rule of thumb: ALWAYS put linked files (movies, most sounds) in the
same folder as your PowerPoint presentation, THEN insert them into your
presentation. Then as long as you send all files (preferably zip them), all
links will work if saved into a common folder at the other end.
