big problem with slideshow

hello!
i use very large presentations (200 mb). all of the presentation is from
pictures and words.
almost everytime, in the middle of the slideshow, the pictures dissapear,
and i see only the words. when i exit the slideshow, i see the slides with a
red X in the upper-left side.
how do i solve this problem (it's solved only when i exit the presentation
and open it again)
