Bilingual spellcheck

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Power PC I'm studying modern languages and currently can't use the spellcheck because Word automatically changes my french quotes into similar english words, is there anyway that we can choose two languages for the dictionary or to make the dictionary change anytime i open quotation marks?

Select the text then go to Tools> Language & select the appropriate one.

As a preferable alternative, create a Style that includes the Language
formatting & use that to format the text.
