birthday defults

hi i changed to outlook 2003 from 2002
in 2002 the notes section would have a icon for the birthday (if on
was entered) in 2003it doesnt do this so i then need to go to each dat
in the calender and open indervidual sereis of reocuring birtdays t
change the label to birthday and the reminder tab to 3 days insted o
defult 15 mins
how do i change the defult setting so that when i create a new contac
and enter there birthday it is pre set to my specs?
any help much apresiate

i have just been int my calendar and as i syncronise with a palm tre
and have in the past synced with other palms, and because i lost all o
my birtday fields when export - import back (from excell) i now hav
multipal duplicates of birthdays and aniversarys,
i want o desifer which one is taged to the contact by having the
coloured(purple birtday lable) so i can delete the rest
please help

This usually happens when you *import* an outlook .pst file - one reason we
never recommend importing a native Outlook file.

If you use File->Open->Outlook data file, the information in your .pst file
will be preserved, including custom forms, connections between contacts and
calendar and activities, etc.

If you have your outlook.pst file handy, try using File->Open->outlook data
file from Outlook's File menu.

Or, better yet, just create a new mail profile and configure it to use your
saved .pst file.
