Bitmaps don't show color

I have a presentation with colored tiles that are bitmaps. Some users are
able to see the colors others only see white rectangles. I created the
presentation in PPT 2000 and I can see the colors fine.

What file format are the bitmaps? I'm not sure what you mean by "tiles". Can
you provide more detail?
What version of PowerPoint are the other people using?
Are they running the presentation in Slide Show mode when they can't see the
color, or is this happening in edit/normal view?
